Our Daughters husband is in the army and was able to come home for the baby’s birth. So for when he goes back to Iraq I made a Mom and me out fit for the two of them to look special when they send him off on the 23rd. This is made out of the same silk remnants and cotton I found at the thrift store as Lilly’s new dress. I also made them matching head bands to go with it. I also use the double stitched seem on the whole thing. The person in the picture modeling it is not the one who is going to wear it so it does not quite fit her in the chest or in length.
