My wedding gown: Vneck cut bodice w/a bias cut skirt and rushed sash.
I’ve included a couple pictures of the finished product as well as one of the original muslin “pattern” and one of the dress in progress.

Novice
This is my first design without a pattern. I partially used a draping and partially trial and error to build the pattern, with a lot of tweeking of the final fit!
I bought all the fabric at JoAnns on sale and saved myself tons of money!
Pattern custom-designed and hand-made by me.

Wow, you’re brave, making your wedding dress your choice of first patternless outfit! It looks beautiful— great fit too. And I really love that you included a picture of the muslin—I enjoy seeing the process as well as the finished product!
