Finally I had the time to sew again en decided to experiment with denim.
I went for a very lightweight denim (wasn’t sure my machine as gonna be able to handle thick layers) and added some zippers and straps to embelish. This is the first time I’ve done pants with a back yolk and may I say they are easy to make & very flattering.
For the inside of the waistband I used a light cotton Regina Mills office from ABC’s Once Upon a Time kinda print from Joann’s. The bias binding foot came in handy for the finish.
I made a bunch of clothes tags using satin ribbon and a sheet of transfer paper. I haven’t washed it yet, so I hope the ink stays.
