Cute summer denim pinafore I’ve made for my daughter. This is actually pinafore mark 2 – the first one I did was a too-heavy, oversized disaster! So I scrapped it, went and bought some better fabric and made this one, which turned out perfectly. Phew!
You can read more about it on my blog, Jorth!
Light weight denim with a bit of stretch. The fabric was a Bettina Liano remant - it's lovely! The bodice facing and inside pocket flaps were done in a spotted Japanese cotton.

I’m not just jumping on the bandwagon here, I really DO love the topstitching, like everyone else. And what a great model! _
Kudos to you on having the bravery to scrap version #1 and try again. I’m trying to work up the courage to do that myself on one of my projects.

Great to see version 2! Sometimes if version 1 doesn’t work out it can be very hard to make yourself go through it again…. This looks like a really cute pinafore – nice topstitching there too! -Gabrielle
