Southend On Sea,...
I wanted trousers that would cover my belly, so I took an old pair of high waisted trousers and made a pattern from them. I added 4 buttons at the side rather than an zip and also added cuffs to the bottom. These are my toile pair to see how they came out. The trouser leg needs slight adjustment as there a bit off line. I used a light blue curtain as it was the right weight for the pair I will make. I might even wear these out. The trousers are a size 24 and a bit tight around the waist at the moment.
