Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I used the retro Butterick 5209 pattern. I used a light blue chiffon fabric that I got at Wal-mart for $1 a yard! I’m pretty pleased with the way it turned out, I might make another one, but just with an open back next time. I hope you like it. :)Material Notes

Pretty….for those of you intimidated by sewing chiffon, don’t be! Use a spray stabilizer like Sullivan’s to temporarily stiffen your fabric so that it’s almost feels and acts like a heavyweight cotton…temporarily. Wash it out…badadump, normal chiffon again!

Great idea! i never know how to finish edge seams though- it always gets sucked into the machine…and gets stringy after washing

oh i so wish there was somewhere that sold cheap fabric here :( love the dress by the way so cute will wait for a sale on butterick patterns and give it a go
