I had to give this pattern a try after seeing all the fabulous versions made by other BurdaStyle members. After having a bit of hard time finding the right size I had a great time sewing this dress. This project was quite easy and quick to make. Nevertheless, the outcome is lovely. I wanted to use light cotton which is my favourite fabric in summer clothing. Also I wanted to try the stand up collar. Could not be happier with the outcome. Since I am a huge fan of belts I also made a simple belt to match the dress. I think it gives a nice finishing touch. I used very light cotton batiste for underlining, which makes this dress very comfortable to wear. I love this :)
