The fabric is beautiful and the design includes some of the most vintage & delightful scenes such as people performing a variety of chores including a woman washing clothes near a creek, people relaxing in the countryside, mother and child feeding the chickens, there are donkeys, sheep, birds, and many details-too many to list!
I didn’t want to put too many seams in the fabric so I opt for a simple style with an inverted front pleat that emphasizes the lovely look. The dress has front and back yoke that is trimmed with brown trimmings. Due to the plain cut the dress is not too dressy for day wear. It is completely lined with cream taffeta with an invisible zipper at back.
The inspiration comes from burdafashion July 2008. I modified it to make it more fitting and added two standing collar that is strategically place at the front with round edges and at the back with square edge.
I love the look and was proud to wear the fabric for what it represents.
