A colleague of a friend asked me to make her a dress. She needed one to wear at the wedding of her brother in law. She saw one she liked a lot on the internet and wanted me to make something similar but still a bit more unique. And because the wedding was in april and you can never be sure of good weather in Belgium, she also needed a jacket.
So I did my very best, it was a fun project for me and I think it turned out pretty good. She did seem sincerely happy with it.
The colour of the dress is a bit too orange (instead of the deep red it really is) on these pictures.
a slightly stretchy material with a satin finish (red and black) an invisible zipper some sew-on flowers

This is an awesome dress design and the jacket is a great match. The neckline is so interesting! All she needs is a pair of strappy black sandals and she is ready to rock! great job.

Thanks! The neckline is the first thing I constructed on a mannequin…ever…and I had lots of fun doing that. I should definitily try that more often!
