Liberty of London Scarf

Added Aug 9, 2012

New South Wales,...

I was itching to sew something today but after 6 days straight at work my brain was a little fried… I have been loving what ajtak7171 is making and was inspired to try and make my own interpretation of her Mixed-fabric Scarf.

I used a mixed bunch of Liberty of London Tana Lawn fabrics to make this scarf, the Tana Lawn fabric is very light weight which makes this scarf a perfect accessory for Spring. The scarf measures 15.5cm/6" wide and 142cm/56" long.

I am really happy with the result and might try and make another sometime soon.

Material Notes

An assortment of Liberty of London fabric.

Thanks so much! I know what you mean. I have a box where I keep my small collection of Liberty lawns, and I would say it is my prized sewing possession. I dream about making a quilt from Liberty but have to save up my $ first! Sam xox

I love your beautiful scarf and what a great way to use small pieces of Liberty fabric. I cannot part with a single scrap of Liberty as it is so lovely. You have me thinking now!!
