i recycled my daughters mario t shirt that got ti small. i shirred the waist and the leg holes. i am not going to finish the edges, they won’t fray. i didn’t even add seam allowance. a person could if they wanted to. i put to add seam allowance on the pattern pieces, but it depends on the material and look/finish you are going for. i think that the pattern is around a size 7, that is what she wears normally.

i had such a hard time uploading the pattern i forgot some details. the measurments on the pattern are what they actually are so if it doesn’t print correctly you can reproduce it at the same size advertised. don’t shirr too close to the edge or the elastic will pull the material under the face plate. the seam allowance that i used is techniqly 1/2 the foot width, which is not reflected in the pattern itself. i think that is everything.
