Description

Inspired from this pattern I drafted some new versions
That was fun! :-) I really felt free because I drafted without so much calculating.

To get a one piece shirt which should be much more ‘regular’ I tried to reduce the twist.
See the drawings below to follow my pattern alteration. The red line (center line) shows how much it is rotated. I also added a drawing and a review of the original pattern.

The red shirt is cut out on straight grain – it has two side seams.
The green one ist cut on bias – one side on fold. It’s neckline was formed with the help of my breakfast plate. ;-)

Material Notes

red shirt: cotton jersey
green shirt: light weight viscose jersey

You might try the red top which I uploaded recently: here
It is a great simple pattern which comes with a waistband option and long sleeves.

Simply cannot say anything new… So inventive, and your variations in solid colours are quite dramatic… would like one… Bravo again!
