Added Jul 4, 2013
I just restyled a friend’s salsa costume that was a bit old fashioned and not fitted to her body.
On the front, I removed 2 of the 3 skirt layers which decreased a little the fluffy shape.
At the back, I kept all the layers of the skirt but shortened the length by 8 cm to make her legs look longer.
I added an elastic band at the waist to gather the back of the bodice to fit her body better.
Finally, we added feathers along the “coconut bra” as she calls it to smooth the shape a little.
The final design is far better, and gives a more modern flavor to the costume ! I Look forward to seeing her dancing with it.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
