This skirt is from burdastyle 6/2007. It took me only five years to finally make it! The three front parts and the three back parts were (identically) cut against the grain. I’ve never tried this technique before and I love it now! It gives such a nice flow to the whole ;))) I had to adjust a bit here and there but the sides fitted already. Added a broad band around the waist (…forgotten the word, sorry), which I close with a zip and two buttons.
The pattern can be used for every season.

This reminds me of a jean skirt I have sewn in a very similar way. I love how your skirt came together. It was worth the 5 years, I’m sure. :)
