    WOW! I was planning to do the same style dress for a masquarade but I haven’t figured out how to do the “petticoat” or whatever it was called at that time. how did you managed to make wide hip?

      Thank you, and you do i gave myself 30 days. and it took me ALL of the 30 days to make it. I had the pattern for 3 years and the fabric for 2 then last year i said to myself, now or never.

    Wow! the history has been brought to life. Interesting detail,I like the strip tie with a knot

      i thought so too. and the stripe tie with the know was my idea, it called for me to hand sew each little poof, yeah no, i thought to myself i’ll knot them and them tack them down with a zigzag stitch. “Viola”!
