Description

I made this dress from some fabric leftovers, but it has quickly become probably my fave dress of the moment.

I skipped the zip (because it seemed like a lot of effort) and even though it isnt stretch fabric, it still pulls over my head fine! I also cheated on the hooks and eyes, by using the ribbon with them already attatched – much easier. The fabric has a tendency to crease up quite a bit though, and the front bit was very difficult to get flat (I gave up in the end and just left it a bit wibbly), but saying that, I still like it very much!

Material Notes

Navy spotty cotton, white cotton and some of that ribbon with hooks and eyes on

Very cute dress, and the “wibbly” front just looks like normal wrinkles from sitting. (Ha! I love the name you gave your dress, a very amusing play on “bird watching” terms!)
