i didn’t have enough fabric to make the circle skirt without a seam, and then of course, i wanted it longer and i didn’t have enough fabric for that, either, so i sewed in a higher waistband with darts.
the white skirt was a test-run. by the time i got to the waistband part, i had stopped paying attention and finished it off with a big button instead. when i spin in that one, it goes almost all the way out. super cute for dancing, i’d bet.
remant fabric, misprint, $1.99yd, appx 1.5yds.
