Leopard Print Simplicity 5645
Added Feb 11, 2012
This was my first time trying out this mid 1960’s pattern, and it went so well! As you can see from the illustrations on the pattern, this is not meant to be a figure hugging, fitted shirt. This is much more airy & comfortable. I chose option 5 giving me a cute tie collar and some mid length sleeves.
The fabric used is a very loud blue/black leopard print cotton from the local fabric shop which retailed about £3.29 per metre, and the buttons used were from my stash.
I particularly love the length of this shirt as it sits quite nicely in line with my hips, which lets me wear it loose, or tucked in.
