This is my second go at leopard print (last year’s pants were cotton velvet). This time I used a printed stretch denim purchased in the Garment District in NYC for just $2.99/yd on a 60" bolt. I made these using Kwik Sew 3504, an in-print mens jeans pattern. Perfect for holiday parties!
You can read more about the construction of my leopard jeans on my blog, Male Pattern Boldness.
My denim looks to be a cotton/lycra, with maybe some poly too. I used professional waistband interfacing to strengthen the waistband so it wouldn't stretch. To line the two front pockets I used a pre-shrunk striped cotton. I inserted a tailor's hook and eye as a closure on the waistband.

Totally awesome, love the fabric. My hubby would love them so I am hiding this as he finds it hard to understand that it is very unlikely even with our lord and master, Google, I would find similar fabric! But you never know!

As I thought… amazing! And as I anticipated, best with a white shirt, cuffs undone! I love the 6th picture down. Really neat work :-)
