I’ve had this leopard print fabric for so long without a single idea – since it was semi-sheer I decided to try the Azalea pattern by adding some black satin.
I cut all pattern pieces at size 42 except the outer dress (leopard fabric) I cut that at 34 to reduce bulk since this wasn’t the lightest of fabrics. Omitted the zipper since I could slip it over my head and used a belt I owned instead of the sash.
I’m really happy with the results especially since this was my first stab at a burda pattern. Turns out printing the pattern was the hardest part (I blame the plotter at work more than the actual pattern itself though)!!
