I always like have my own fabric bags to lug around stuff for a more casual look other than my handbag, and I saw the LENA pattern and loved the style!
I chose to do a plain outer fabric so that it doesn’t clash with whatever i wear but chose exciting fabrics for the inside. I gave one of the 3 bags i made to my sister and she prefers to use it in reverse with the pattern as the outside. (tho that means the pocket is on the outside, she doesn’t mind).
I also added little clasp type things because i’m a sucker to loose my keys in the bottom of the bag somewhere so i put the clasp in so that i can clip my keys onto that so i don’t loose them!
I also shortened the length (depth) of the bag.
some suiting fabric and patterned cotton lining. the leopard print is polarfeece type. $2per metre at spotlight! bargain!
