2350 Nes På Hedm...
This project was made by my mother and me. The wool and antique buttons were from my aunt. The instructions for the Lekala pattern were very skimpy, but together we were able figure it out. We did have to piece the collar in the back in order to get it out of the wool. The wool is very heavy and therefore we used velcro to keep the pockets down. Mom pieced the lining with heavier, more expensive lining in the main body area. A couple of the buttons were rusty on the back of them. I sandpapered them carefully and then used clear nail polish on the back of them. It was challenging making this in the heat of the summer in MN while I was visiting but I know I will appreciate it so much when winter comes. I do like the fit of it. We both liked working with the wool. Thanks to my Mom and my Aunt!
