shorts made from leftovers from this kimono i made a while ago
(fabric is rayon challis)
used burda magazine pattern (3/2012, mod 114)
it’s a really easy sew
as there are only two pattern pieces
plus one long rectangle (and 2cm wide elastic) for the waist
perfect project for scrap busting
as it uses really small amount of fabric
(nothing nearly 1.3m burda calles for
i had less than 0.5m of 1.5m wide fabric
and i also matched pattern, and still there was enough fabric)
