The fabric was bought from a leftover basket at Ohlsons, and it only cost 10 SEK (about §2). The appliqué is sewn on with a very tight zigzag stitch. The skirt would’ve been too short if I had made a folded hem so I had to make do with just a zigzag seam. The darts came out a bit too long (note to self: make shorter darts on next skirt). The facing is made from the same contrasting fabric as the bird appliqué.
Just some leftover cotton fabric, a 15 cm zipper, contrasting cotton, thread in two colours.
