Blouse made from material left over from a previous project call Late winter dress. Loosely based on the JJ blouse but I prefer them without a collar so I just lowered the neckline to one that flatters me better. Decided to use one of my decorative stitches on the machine to finish edges and I am very pleased with the results so may have to use them more often. Very light and fresh to wear and doesn’t crease either. Not a lover of doing button holes but thought I would have another go. They didn’t take long but maybe need to look at other tutorials to get better finishes. It does slip on over my head anyway so don’t have to undo them all the time. The buttons are very nice and go with the blouse but because of the detail they catch on the buttonhole threads which is annoying.
Feels nice on and fits in with some other items in my wardrobe for autumn and winter wear. Have enough material left over to make another sorbetto top. Watch this space and thanks for looking.
