Burda Style For people who sew
Description
What do you say when a friend asks – have you ever worked with Leatherette? Could you make me some wrestling trousers? Oh and by the way, the match is in a couple of days.
Luckily, the Carol pattern was perfect and my friend didn’t mind having a pair of trousers called Carol.
They were easy to make except when the thread kept breaking. Luckily the helpful man in our local material shop suggested Vaseline to help the material feed through the foot – luckily it worked.
The trousers survived the match and looked fantastic.
