this is wide neck sweatshirt, from june issue of burda magazine
it’s made from a shapeless cotton jersey dress that i never wore
so i decided to refashion it into something more fun
there was not enough fabric for the whole sweatshirt
so i decided to make back panel from black net, that i got from a remnant bin
it was a very narrow piece, hence the center back seam
i added faux leather piping, to make the look a bit more edgy..
and, since there was not enough jersey fabric for neck and arm bindings,
i used faux leather piping instead
it’s an oversized sweatshirt, i thought it might be a bit too big
so made size 36 (i usually go for 38 with burda patterns)
and i’m pretty happy with the way it fits
leggings are my favorite leggings pattern – burda’s lace leggings, from june 2012
