Trying on a boxy dress- new shape for me. Mixed feelings too, at first. Pattern from Burda 2/2012 119. the main Image is a BEFORE version, the close up on a dressform is a final addition – now it is complete.

My whole idea was to go for an understated model from the magazine, as there were too many obvious choices. Also I might take another photo to show off the final look- which seems to be much better. The fabric is fab- a bargain at £3.99 per meter on ebay!
