I’m fan of your dresses ! This one is so perfect ! Was it hard to sew ? Did you use a pattern or design it ?

Thank you so much! I used a pattern from Burda Magazine 7/2009, just adding a bit more sleeve. I chose a simple pattern because I wanted to work with leather – ‘cause it can be a difficult material to sew in. But with some good needles made for leather, it wasn’t to hard.

Great dress. Was it very difficult to work with leather?

Thanks! It can be really difficult to work with leather, but the piece I got for this dress is really thin and smooth (so it is fabulous to wear as well). But I did choose to use a simple pattern, so I would avoid to many layers around the collar and pockets.
