Leather and Broderie Anglais dress

Added May 6, 2014

London, United K...

I self drafted this dress to recreate a dress I had seen on a fashion blog. I made the pattern by using my princess seam dress block and adding contrast strips at the princess seams, centre front, and waist. I used Broderie Anglais for the main part of the dress, accentuated with leather contrasting strips. I quite like the contrast of these two very different fabrics :)

I love the end result, and am quite proud of the fit, but am now desperate to make another version in white!
