A lady I know in our parish asked me to pray for her and her husband that they would be approved to adopt a baby they were being considered for. I decided to make a blanket because I figured they’d be bringing the baby home :) This was my second ever knit object so all I did was make stripes and knit one row, purl the next and used Vanna White Baby Yarn for the yarn.
Yarn, bamboo knitting needles the size stated on the package, patience….

Thanks! I need to finish it….but the colors hopped into the shopping cart :D I should add that it has taken me 20+ years to keep trying to learn how to knit with varying degrees of cursing and needle damage … finally got it.

I love the stripes and the colours you have chosen. I have had a go at knitting, much more practice required I think! The blanket is so neat for only your second knit project! Well done, such a lovely thought!
