I’ve coveted the JJ blouse ever since I saw it in the BurdaStyle design competition. I actually finished this quite a while ago, but never got around to photographing it until yesterday. This blouse was a joy to make with all of the clever details like the stand collar, puffed sleeves with faced slit and buttoned cuffs, and of course, the wonderful ruffles! I graded the pattern down to size 32 and then further modified the fit to make it slimmer and shorter. I also changed the ruffle detailing to use a single, wider ruffle down each side of the placket, rather than the 3 narrow ruffles. I may try the more ruffly original version in the future too. Thank you, JJ, for this wonderful pattern!
