Thurso, United K...

My major work project for the final year of my costume course. We had $200 NZ dollars and $80 NZD of workroom stock to make our chosen garments ( i came in under the radar at 163.30 NZD and 50 NZD). I wanted to make a mid 18th century gown and did so!

These photo’s where taken in a professional photo shoot for an award winning NZ hair artist.

Material Notes

Taffeta, cotton voile, lace, organza ribbon, pearls, silk and gimp

Garment Type
Cotton, Lace/Sequins, Organza, Silk, Taffeta

    That’s incredible for that price.

    It’s really an effective piece.

    Great work!

It’s spectacular, it must be such a great feeling to wear it. I also really love the model’s hair, if it was possible to dye the hair white without destroying it I just might… :-)!

HOLY INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic! You would love this BAROQUE opera/dance company in Toronto called: ‘Opera Atelier’ Apparently they are the only authentic Baroque opera company in the world. Their productions are amazing! Check out the link: Also my friend GERARD GAUCI, paints their sets and paints paintings like your photo’s above that are spectacular….you can google him! Amazing and amazing photo’s!!!
