I’ve always had trouble finding pants that fit, so I was thrilled when Sewaholic released her Thurlow Trouser pattern designed for pear shapes. I made a straight size 6, which basically fit right out of the envelope.
I omitted some of the design details, like the back welt pockets and belt loops. I straightened the leg flare a bit, too. It’s a great pattern, though I’ll warn you the instructions are kinda confusing. Stick with it!
See more on my blog. Thanks!

Stunning!! I should really work on getting myself a perfect pants pattern… one of the reasons I almost never sew myself trousers =) Ps – I’m following your blog and it was my Tuesday morning blog read today! Loved it and it made me think of my own troubles with getting trousers that fit perfectly :) Thanks for the inspiration and hope you will wear your perfect pair often!
