Anda Pattern: Didn’t use casing just made ties for the back. Used Black Broadcloth and Taupe Colored Satin Ribbons.
I wanted to make this dress more exciting buts it’s a Birthday gift for my little sister and she was adamant that it was not to have too many embellishments. Alas, I got her to consent to some ribbon detail. I hope she likes it!

I think it’s perfect. Clean and understated. The waistline looks lower without the casing, better.
