Practical and pretty, that is our apron. We spend one fun afternoon shooting Layla in Nora’s apartment. It’s hard to imagine how much mud soup and other awful things Layla managed to cook during those couple of pictures taken.

hahaha, lol, i really need a apron, i make a HUGE mess when i cook, it looks like a disgruntled monkey took blender, filled it with all the ingerdients im using, & put it on high with out the lid… most of the mess is on me though… now that im thinking about it, a cooking pancho sounds more like what i need…

X and Benedikta: I am obsessed with aprons, I love baking and wearing my great-grandmother’s aprons, they are all white, must be starched and have plenty of lace and trimming.

Hey X, that is a good question. I honestly just rediscovered the apron myself. I never wore an apron and honestly, I never cook either, but just recently I found the coolest apron on a crafts fair and ever since I am looking for all sorts of excuses to show if off. (All over sudden I don’t mind doing all these dishes :))
Mirela! you are the most resourceful person ever! Thanks for being on our site!!

I love the apron and the matching mitt! I’ve been meaning to make one for ages since I actually cook and bake all the time!

It’s very cute but I haven’t seen anyone use an apron for ages. My mother in law has one I think. Are there really people still wearing aprons?

yay~ I love an apron pattern!! I really wanna make one so cute! The pleated ribbon is store bought? wonderful~ Need the oven glove pattern~! (btw is there a special cotton for apron? or is regular fabric okay…do we need to consider if it is flammable or not?)
