Practical and pretty, that is our apron. We spend one fun afternoon shooting Layla in Nora’s apartment. It’s hard to imagine how much mud soup and other awful things Layla managed to cook during those couple of pictures taken.

X and Benedikta: I am obsessed with aprons, I love baking and wearing my great-grandmother’s aprons, they are all white, must be starched and have plenty of lace and trimming.

Hey X, that is a good question. I honestly just rediscovered the apron myself. I never wore an apron and honestly, I never cook either, but just recently I found the coolest apron on a crafts fair and ever since I am looking for all sorts of excuses to show if off. (All over sudden I don’t mind doing all these dishes :)) Mirela! you are the most resourceful person ever! Thanks for being on our site!!

Love the look, trims and the cut in the back. If anyone would like to sew the mitten there’s a how to: Oven mitten fits both left and right hand.

I love the apron and the matching mitt! I’ve been meaning to make one for ages since I actually cook and bake all the time!
