Burda Style For people who sew
Description
these lavenderpillows have been made in the finest pure cotton i could find. than i mashineembroidered them in white on white. both, the frame (flower girlanda) and the writing are mashineembroidery made with my mashine ( i really really love my janome for things like that)
handfinished by adding a little vintage lace-trimming and there they are………
sizese are for the round 25 cm in diameter and for the square one 25 to 25 cm.
they are both filled with pure, dried summerlavender!!!
both pillows are dedicated to my beloved husband!

superfine puer cotton, white embroidery flosse in matt and shine, vintage lace, dried lavender

Simply beautiful Ralf! I always love white on white when there’s contrast like your plain cotton against the sheen of the expertly embroidered thread. The delicate lace is the perfect finishing detail on these gorgeous works of art!

Ralf, I love these pillows! I can see the love for that new janome and the endless possibilities for creativity. What a great machine in the hands of a true master of what I call fiber art. So now you have a new reference…Fiber Artist. I too agree….welch’ wunderbare Liebeserklärung!!! (funny, I had to read that last word about 10 times to get the meaning, and then oh, I get it..lol)

Oh, Ralf! You really are the sweetest guy! Beside that your work is beautiful as usual, the meaning behind it is just heart warming. You husband is a lucky guy my dear! I like to start my mornings with love:))) Thanks for sharing! BTW, Is your Janome an embroidery machine! I just got a new one, the 6600 and I don’t think mine does these kind of work. Really beautiful design.

thank you so much timi! i have the janome 11000 memory craft and it is (aside of beeing a fab. sewingmashine) also a very good and easy to handle embroiderymashine. i love working with it!
