A wheat and lavender heat pack for my lovely Mum for Mothering Sunday. She wasn’t feeling well last week which gave me the idea. It contains a hot pack with 6 pockets ( each 9cm by 17cm and 110g of mixed lavender and wheat) and then I made a case for her but decided I wan’t too keen on it so made the purple case to replace it. I’ll let her choose which one she prefers! I found that 600g of wheat grain mixed with 50g of dried lavender worked well. I mixed the wheat grain with roughly 2ml of lavender oil to dampen it slighty and left this for an hour before mixing it with the dried lavender. It turned out far better than I expected and smells lvely. I am very pleased with the purple cover :-D
