Spanish Town, Ja...
I wanted to make a pencil skirt to wear to church for my birthday. The original went wrong. The pattern was way too big and I kept trying to take it in and I just couldn’t bother anymore. What’s worse, i put in the invisible zip PERFECTLY and had to rip it out.
I used a lavender knit which was too thin so i doubled it. I used the fold as the hem. I cut out the pattern using another pencil skirt I had.
I braided leftover scraps to make the belt. I bought the top.
All in all it turned out really nicely.
I also made the fascinator in my hair. It’s really a veil but i folded down the netting.
We're wishing Meg a happy birthday with 50% off her favorite patterns.
