The pattern includes 1 cm seam allowance.
The back piece is cut on the fold, the double front piece is cut once, out of a single layer of fabric. Also cut a straight strip of fabric for the collar/shoulder band. This strip of fabric should be at least 26 and at most 40 cm wide (design choice, this determines the width of the band) and for the length, measure loosely around your shoulders and substract the width of the back piece (for my top, the length of this piece is about 80 cm but it’s better to err on the side of caution. you can try the top on and shorten the band before sewing it). For smaller sizes and/or narrower bands, this piece can be cut with its long side on the straight grain, next to the body pieces. For larger sizes and/or wider bands, cut it under the body pieces with the long side on the cross grain (that’s when you’ll need 1,50 m of fabric)
