Let me tell you the story of that top. My sister had some fleece unused supposed to be for her kids. I can’t believe I am saying this but I instantly imagine I could use it for adults wear!!! lol What a terrible aunty am I!!!
It is so comfy and yet warming so I said let me sew something that will make me go out at night with a fleece top. Here I am with that top…braided on the sides!!!
I designed the top and decided that with the extra unused fabric I would braid them and put them on the sides, the collar and the wrists…. I will tke picture at day time cuz I finished it at night and it is not easy to see properly the top.
It would have worked a wonder with the braids in white !!!
Fleece is easy to work.
It is a stretch fabric however it has to be considered as a non-stretch fabric. I am a medium size and I had to make a large size pattern.
It is easy to cut since it is a hard yet light fabric and despite piling the frabric with the braids I could sew with the machine. In fact the fabric is light and can be hugely mashed up.
Gonna post some more tomow!!!
