I’m on roll! Yesterday I made the painted shirt, today I decided it was time for another step in my mission to transform all the small pieces of jersey still hanging around in my stash, being leftover from last year, in original pieces of clothing.
I made this vintage-like top using charcoal grey knit and black woven cotton, decorated with black lace and satin and velvet ribbon. I designed the pattern myself and finished the top off with another one of my great-grandaunt’s buttons.
You may notice that, on the dummy, the top seems too tight around the chest… this is because there, I’m a little smaller than it is.

This is gorgeous! I’m dying to know if you drafted a pattern to do this or simply played around with the fabric and made it from scratch?
