Description
I made this black and white Laurel as a wearable muslin but I like it a lot!
I’m so happy I gave it a try .
I cut a size 14 according to the sizing table, but it was way to big. Some serious granny-alarm went of!
I made the darts in the back 8 cm deeper and took in the sideseams by 4 cm. I cut 15 cm of the bottom, because it was way to long.
I decided to draft and add my own collar, because I thought it was a bit plain without a collar.

Are you sure you got the sizing right. I cut a size 8\10 for colette patterns and you are definitely no bigger than me. In Australian\European sizing I am normally a 14.

I took my measurements again and according to my hip measurements I’m a size 14 (44")… But when I put it on, it was huge so maybe I’m not. It’s weird, cause with their Laurel and their macaron I fit easily into an 8.
I’m a 12 or 14 depending on the fit in UK sizing, so it’s a bit weird. Next time I’ll definitely cut a smaller size!
