One day I was waiting for mama at the library and happened to check out what sewing magazines they had. I had to borrow nearly every one of them as there was so many nice patterns. This one is from “Ottobre design” (5/2011) and its name is Vintage Rose. My dress’ print isn’t exactly vintage rose, but it has these small green roses and other flowers, and I think it’s rather sweet. I didn’t follow the pattern’s instructions blindly, so there’s a few changes in my dress. For example I didn’t add the rest of the sleeves and I made pleats differently both on the collar and to the skirt part. I’m really looking forward to wearing this at Christmas time!
p.s. More pictures on my blog!
