Durban, South Af...
I was inspired to make this dress from something I glimpsed in a movie; it took a while to get the pattern right, and then even longer for the happy co-incidence of fabric to occur. I’m completely in love with this dress, and it’s simple lines are very slimming; the lighter colour used on the inside panel and the white topstitching seem to play a happy trick with the eye.
This dress is made from polycotton, and hence is very cheap; it could easily be made with any fabric, and when I can afford a slub silk, I will be making one for myself in that. I’ve been wearing this with a pair of jeans and red slipslops, as it’s been rather too chilly to wear on its own, but I look forward to the summer months with this one.
This dress is for sale, find me on facebook (page is under construction atm, apologies).
The lines of Greek architecture inspire this neutral and pastel collection.
