I love the way this jumper turned out, although I had some difficulty getting the fit right. According to the Burda size chart, my hips say I’m a size 40. Well, the 40 was huge on me. I’m really more like a 36. So I had to take it in quite a bit. I should have known to make the top part in a smaller size, because my measurements indicate I am a size 36 top. But I didn’t, so I ended up having to improvise some methods to get the top to fit. That’s why I have the three buttons in the front, and why they are arranged in a triangle instead of a straight line.
I neglected to put the slit in front and so far am not really regretting it. I also took liberties with the arrangement of buttons on the back. Finally, I did not understand the pocket instructions and so ended up just kind of winging it. They turned out fine.

This is on my list of things to make… in navy! Yours is great, and I think the fewer buttons looks better!
