Again, a skirt. My boyfriend’s mother gave me an old Laura Ashley fabric. Yes, it’s for drapes or a couch cover or whatever. But I decided to make a simple A-line skirt with big pokets on both sides. The only measure I made was for the waistband, everything else I did just how I liked it.
The only thing I have to mention is that you have to sew every side of the pokets at the top 2 centimetres closer to the side seam than at the bottom (where you just stitch down the whole lenght of the poket fabric). That’s important, because otherwise you can not use the pokets and the shape of the skirt is different (not so cute as if you see the pokets stick out a little bit).
1,00 × 1,50 metre dark blue heavy and stiff fabric (100% cotton) with small light ornaments, a 16 centimetre zipper
