I was donated a whole bag of fabric and this is just one of them. There must be about 3 1/2 metres of it and I have a blouse made out of the same material on the go too with still about 3/4 of a metre left. This is my take on the Coffee Date Dress without the frill but with a trim (also donated which I think is upholstery trim). It is fully lined. Was meant to be just a muslin but turned out quite well so didn’t bother making another and will save the fabric for something else that I had in mind.
I have teamed it up with a lovely Ben De Lisi Cardigan which matches the colours in the fabric really well and gives me the warmth I need for those cold days.
You could wear a blouse underneath for the office and extra warmth and add bling to dress it up for an evening out with statement shoes.
