Last summerdress before winter arrives

Chatham, New Jer...

With the last ray of warm sunlight I finished this dress for my sister. She asked me to sew it for her and got herself this soft cotton jersey fabric.
It’s the second time I made this dress and again I had to shorten the strap to have less fabric in the back of the neck. But more than that, it’s a very nice pattern and with the good description, quickly done.

      Hello Mary
Right, I forgot to mention, it is the pattern 110 from the magazine 2/2013.
A lovely pattern which I’ve done before and it is really nice to wear!

Very nice Bbtiny! I have made it too, and I also had to shorten the strap.. I can imagine you sister will be very beautiful in this dress :)

      Hello Ellen
Thank you! I like this dress a lot myself! It has a nice swing to it!

I have to tell you that I used my dress for the first time this evening, and as you say it has a little swing to it – and it was a little windy tonight so the funny thing was that the skirt blowed up! :-)
